About
Hi! I have been crafting as long as I can remember – from paper chains, president’s profiles, maps and more in school to macramé, crochet, and ceramics as a teen, to so many different crafts as an adult: scrapbooking, “painting” wood shapes (I need more practice at this!!!), card making, crafting ornaments, and on and on!!! I LOVE to craft and create things. I am often seen daubing in glue with paper stuck to my fingers and glitter on my face and in my hair! Everyone says I should have been a Kindergaten teacher!
I am an invertebrate crafter. I do almost anything that is crafty – except sew and paint – but I can fake those with a little fabric glue and some craft foam. I LOVE to craft.
As soon as I see a new craft project my mind starts working to see how I can to use what craft items I have on hand, to work around things I just can’t do (like sewing!) and to put my own spin on it (Like I said my painting needs improvement, but I am heck on cutting and pasting!) to recreate the project – sorta of!.
I teach the children at my church on Wednesday night and have been doing weekly crafts for the whole group (about 30 kids) the past 2 years.
Stop by and see my craft projects. I am aiming at showing a project (with directions or the url of where I found the project) at least weekly. I hope you enjoy my crafts and let me know how your project came out!
thanks for liking my post on sheilatphotography. Please update your About so we can learn more about you.
Thanks so the sweet comment on my blog. I tried to follow you here but your RSS feed doesn’t seem to be working! What a fun blog you have.
Thanks. I’ll see if I can fix it. Not real computer tech savy, can do programs very well, but not the “other” stuff!
Ok, I think I have fixed it. Please try it and let me know. Thanks again for visiting!
I was wondering if you could mentor me on the “start-up” of a crafting group at church. No major commitment necessary, just hoping you could share a few basic tips with me! I would love to get a craft group going at our church. Maybe even sell our crafts to fundraise for various Christian ministries.
Thanks for your time!!!
Erica

Hi, thanks for the ‘like’ on my craft project of Paper bag Haunted Houses. I think I love doing crafts just as much as you! and a lot of mine are geared to kids too after working in an elementary school for years and just being a Mom. I can’t wait to check out some of your ideas!!
All the Best to you!
